Patients can reach the pharmacy counter without knowing whether their medication is covered, what insurance requires, or what they’ll pay. GetMyDrug helps bring those questions forward, before the prescription is written. Built with a practicing clinician, our prototype lets patients select their condition, insurer, and medication, explore prior-authorization and step-therapy requirements drawn from published insurer policies, and complete a guided “Is this for me?” check against those requirements. It surfaces missing information and questions for their clinician, alongside illustrative cash, coupon, and copay comparisons. Our demo focuses on migraine treatments, including Ubrelvy, Nurtec ODT, and Qulipta, with selected UnitedHealthcare and Cigna policy examples and a no-insurance path. Supported combinations vary; pricing is demo data, and the checklist is not a coverage guarantee or medical recommendation. GetMyDrug helps patients walk into their next conversation prepared.
